Over 10 years of cooperation with Boeing, the number of engineers at Progresstech-Ukraine has increased 6 times

January 23, 2024

In 2023, Progressech-Ukraine added more than 130 new employees to the engineering team. They strengthened a number of areas of work, in particular, in the analysis of strength, design, production technology and operational support of aircraft.

This was announced by the Director of Progresstech-Ukraine Oleg Uruskyi, summing up the past year during a meeting with the company's staff. The meeting took place in a live-stream format, and for its face-to-face (offline) component, with the participation of Oleg Urusky, a room in one of the districts of Kyiv, protected from Russian air attacks, was chosen.

Addressing his colleagues, the head of Progresstech-Ukraine noted that in 2023, the average monthly pace of recruitment for engineering vacancies in the company exceeded by almost 80% the previous year's recruiting dynamics under martial law. The high indicators are due to the combination of an active search for qualified personnel in the market with the deepening of cooperation with universities for the training of professional aviation engineers for the company.

Intensive replenishment of the staff in combination with an effective corporate system of personnel training enabled Progresstech-Ukraine to train and attract many more engineers to work in international aerospace projects. Last year, their share of the total number of employees of the project units significantly exceeded the planned indicator.

In his introductory speech, the head of Progressech-Ukraine also congratulated his colleagues on the 10th anniversary of the start of cooperation with one of the leaders of the aviation industry, Boeing Corporation. The counterparties concluded an agreement in the fall of 2013, and already at the beginning of the next year, Ukrainian engineers began work on the first orders from Boeing.

Long-term cooperation with a leading manufacturer of aerospace equipment greatly stimulated the development of Progressech-Ukraine. Over the past 10 years, the number of employees in the company's engineering department has increased 6 times, to almost 1,000 people.

Development partnerships with Boeing have not been hindered by either episodic problems with aircraft production or sporadic crises in the aviation industry. Neither the COVID-19 pandemic nor the full-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation stopped him.

Today, Progresstech-Ukraine is the largest provider of services for Boeing in Central and Eastern Europe. Engineers of the Ukrainian company participate in all programs for the development, design, technological support of production and service of the Boeing global civil fleet.
