The company's exposition in Le Bourget was visited by the most curious of the delegations that arrived at the air show
June 25, 2019
A large Ukrainian youth delegation visited the Progressech-Ukraine exhibition at the Le Bourget International Air Show. It consists of 100 inquisitive, energetic, creative, gifted young people. They are the winners of the national educational competition "Aviator 2019" among students of aviation and technical universities of Ukraine.
The guests were primarily interested in the practice of cooperation of the Ukrainian engineering company with the leaders of the aerospace industry, career opportunities and requirements for applicants for vacancies at Progresstech-Ukraine. The future aviators also got acquainted with the programs of dual training of engineers created jointly with the leading universities of Ukraine. Their graduates have a number of exclusive advantages, including the possibility of employment at Progresstech-Ukraine, work in prestigious international aircraft construction projects and acquisition of unique engineering competencies.
One of the winners of the "Aviator 2019" competition, Ihor Kalienko from Kharkiv, has already taken advantage of the first package of preferences available to participants of Progressech-Ukraine training programs. In June of this year, even before the trip to the air show, Ihor received a bachelor's degree from the National Aerospace University named after M.E. Zhukovsky "KHAI". In the same month, he finished the 9-month advanced training courses for future engineers at the Progressech-Ukraine training center in Kharkiv and passed the final exam. After that, he successfully passed an interview in the company as an applicant for the position of strength engineer. This story developed already in France, where Ihor flew as the winner of the "Aviator" contest.
On June 19, in Le Bourget, during the students' visit to the Progresstech-Ukraine exhibition, company director Andriy Fialkovskyi signed an employment agreement with Igor Kalienko. In 5 days, a new employee of Progressech-Ukraine started working, or rather, joined the internal training at the company's Kyiv design center. He is currently undergoing pre-project training, preparing for international certification and admission to perform engineering tasks under contracts with leading aircraft manufacturers.
In the meantime, Ihor submitted documents for participation in another dual educational program Progressech-Ukraine. It involves combining work in the company with studying at the master's degree at KPI named after Igor Sikorsky.
Progresstech-Ukraine is a long-standing partner of the all-Ukrainian competition "Aviator". Every year, the company delegates its representatives to the jury, participates in the preparation of test competition tasks for students, coordinates master classes for contestants. Progresstech-Ukraine also traditionally helps organize visits by the winners of the competition of the most important events and exhibits of international aviation salons (alternately - Le Bourget/Farnborough).
In particular, this year during the 53rd Le Bourget International Aerospace Salon, the participants of the student delegation with the assistance of Progresstech-Ukraine had the opportunity to view the static and interactive Boeing exposition, communicate with managers and engineers of the leading aircraft manufacturer, and look into the future of global aviation.
