Progresstech-Ukraine will participate in the launch of a large-scale infrastructure project

28 лютого 2019 р.

Progresstech Ukraine will participate in the design of an international border crossing point at the city airport in Bila Tserkva, a large industrial center south of Kyiv. The facility will enable the airport to serve international air cargo and will be Phase 1 of a large-scale infrastructure project to set up an international multi-modal transport hub.

Progresstech Ukraine signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Bila Tserkva airport operator. Progresstech Ukraine will develop the design documentation for an international border crossing point at the airport.

The official opening is anticipated in autumn 2019. Serving international flights is expected to stimulate air traffic growth through Bila Tserkva.

The airport is specifically looking to increase the number of international flights for aircraft maintenance at the local aircraft-overhaul facilities. International cargo air transportation is also projected to start to/from the Bila Tserkva airport.

The next steps for establishing an international multi-modal transport hub, include reconstruction of airdrome elements, construction of cargo and passenger terminal facilities, and modernization of related aviation infrastructure.
