Progresstechgroup does everything possible to ensure that Ukrainian engineers and scientists do not leave the country, but work on the development and practical application of high technologies in Ukraine. This was stated by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Progresstechgroup Volodymyr Kulchytskyi at a meeting at the National Technical University "Kyiv Polytechnic Institute named after Igor Sikorsky". A meeting of scientists, teachers and students of the university with delegations of Boeing companies and the Progresstechgroup holding took place on February 18, 2020 in the meeting hall of the Scientific Council of KPI.

"We have made every effort to ensure that the Boeing company works in Ukraine, so that Ukrainian engineers have a decent job here without leaving the country," noted Volodymyr Kulchytskyi. "We create jobs in Ukraine and help young engineers master the latest aviation technologies and integrate into international distribution." labor".

The international holding Progresstechgroup, which unites a number of engineering centers in Europe and North America, is represented in Ukraine, in particular, by the companies Progresstech-Ukraine, Tukana Engineering Ukraine and Soupi Inc. In 2014, the Ukrainian engineering team began cooperation with Boeing, the largest customer of services in the aerospace industry.

As a result of direct interaction with Boeing, the company Progressech-Ukraine created hundreds of new jobs in the segment of highly intelligent services. At the same time, the requirements for the training of professional engineering personnel increased significantly, which became an additional impetus for the forced modernization of the Ukrainian higher engineering school.

In response to these challenges, Progresstech-Ukraine, Boeing and KPI opened a Joint Training Center for the training of qualified engineers for the aviation industry and other high-tech branches of engineering. Similar educational centers also accepted students in Kharkiv and Dnipro. In a number of technical universities, new modern aviation specializations were created, and a program of retraining and certification of teaching staff was launched. In partnership with leading institutions of higher education, joint programs of dual master's training have been launched.

The involvement of Boeing in Ukraine and its support of Ukrainian technical universities was contributed, in particular, by Todd Zarfos, vice president of engineering at the Boeing Engineering and Design Center in the state of Washington (USA), who was awarded the title of Honorary Doctor of KPI by the Higher Academic Council. Igor Sikorsky.

At the meeting at KPI, the rector of the university, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Mykhailo Zgurovsky presented Todd Zarfos with an Honorary Doctorate diploma and noted his personal contribution to world aviation practice, to strengthening the international authority of Kyiv Polytechnic University, to raising the level of engineering education and its innovative component.
