Progresstech Ukraine expands role in promoting STEM education in secondary schools

4 September 2025

Progresstech Ukraine is expanding its role in developing STEM education, an integrated approach to science that combines Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.

The company will help secondary schools spark students’ interest in natural science and mathematics, engage them in research activities, and inspire them to pursue careers in engineering.

Progresstech Ukraine has already signed cooperation agreements with two lyceums and a general education school in Kyiv and Dnipro to introduce STEM-focused lessons.

The company is responsible for preparing instructional and methodological resources for these lessons, including multimedia presentations for study modules, practical assignments for students, and guidance materials for teachers.

The program is based on an interdisciplinary STEM course for secondary schools.

The course is aimed at developing students’ STEM competencies, in particular, scientific literacy, engineering thinking, creativity, project management skills, and effective teamwork.

The proposed STEM teaching method integrates natural science and mathematical subjects with a focus on solving practical problems. This approach helps reveal connections between disciplines, motivates students to experiment and research, and teaches them to apply knowledge in real-life scenarios.
