Progresstech Ukraine modernized its engineering training courses for university students
20 February 2026
In 2025-2026, Progresstech Ukraine modernized its “Fundamentals of aircraft engineering” training courses, which prepare university students and graduates for working in aerospace engineering. Course participants who successfully complete their studies will have the opportunity to take an engineering position at Progresstech Ukraine and, later, to join international aerospace projects.
According to the company’s estimates, the selection of engineering personnel will become increasingly challenging due to the growing demand for professional engineers in sectors critical to Ukraine’s defense capability and economic stability. That is why Progresstech Ukraine seeks to increase the effectiveness of its educational programs as tools for training and replenishing the engineering team.
A significant innovation introduced at the beginning of 2025 was a paid comprehensive internship for course participants under the guidance of mentors and experienced Progresstech Ukraine engineers. It supplements the traditional basic training in the fundamentals of aerodynamics, aircraft design, and aviation materials science.
The new component of the engineering training program stimulated increased interest in the courses. In 2025, there was a record number of applications for places in the training group for the entire 12-year history of the educational project. Therefore, given students’ desire to acquire practical design skills, Progresstech Ukraine expanded the internship program this year and doubled its duration to 12 weeks.
For example, students in the next Spring 2026 courses are offered an in-depth engineering internship program, which includes aircraft construction technologies, using new-generation computer-aided design and engineering analysis systems, a practical course on using technical English vocabulary, and other components.
